Temperament:
Whippets are a quiet, gentle breed that make beautiful pets. They enjoy spending time alone with their owners and are adaptable to all types of people. Whippets love to curl up in a warm place or hide under blankets. Given the opportunity, whippets are able to run long distances.

Training
Whippets are very intelligent and respond well to training. Closely related to Greyhounds, training is definitely required for this breed as they can run very extremely fast.

Grooming
Whippets do not require a lot of grooming, however they should be treated to a weekly groom, as this acts as a treat and is an enjoyable bonding exercise between you and your pet.
