Training
Beagles are quite intelligent dogs. Obedience training will improve their social behaviour and enable them to understand their owners’ commands. Training would be beneficial and enjoyable for both pet and its owner.

Beagles were originally bred to be hunting dogs, so you may find their attention and nose is fixed on the ground while out walking. They love to keep tabs on where they are.

Grooming
Beagles need little grooming. A quick weekly brush will prevent any unwelcome shedding of hair.
